Beer Bottle Opener Zombie Head

Step 1

First I buy a piece of pine. I then paint out the zombie face. Be fun, use bright colors. I use some glow in the dark or black light clear paint on it also.
(Steps 1 & 2 can be swithces around, do whatever is easiest for you.

Step 2

After painting the face on, cut it out with a scroll saw or jig saw.

Step 3

Sand around the edges of the face that is cut out and then paint it to match the face. I use a dremel tool to do this quickly.

Step 4

Next you will want to seal the face. This is important since people will be using this as a bottle opener, there will likely be liquids spilled on it. I usually use Mod Podge.

Step 5

I screwed one big screw that is strong through the top wound in his forehead, with a washer to keep it strong. Always screw this face into a stud or strong wall since there will be extra pressure exerted on it when people are opening their bottles. You can even add a screw at the bottom to make it even stronger.

Step 6

For the mouth, I placed an old vintage bottle cap opener. You can find these on Amazon for a pretty reasonable price. Just screw it onto the face, you can put it over the nose, the mouth, to the side, on it's forehead, anywhere you see fit.

Step 7

Spice it up a bit with adding some nails or screws to his face. These come in handy to hang keys, or bottle openers or glasses from.
