Doggie Leash Holder

Doggie Leash Holder

What You Will Need

1. Paint and brushes
2. Wood
3. Hooks
4. Sealer
5. Sand paper

Step 1

Cut wood shapes out. You can cut out the plaque and dog shape. I got this dog shape already cut out at Family Dollar.

Step 2

Sand until smooth.

Step 3

Paint base coat bright colors, that you will want to be your accent colors that will show through when you "weather" the wood. After the first coat dries, paint over it all off white or whatever color you prefer. Let dry.

Step 4

Distress the wood by sanding over it all lightly. The bottom colors you chose to paint first will now show where it is sanded.

Step 5

Use wood glue to glue on the dog onto the base. Then seal the whole thing with sealer or Mod Podge.

Step 6

Attach hooks. I put two gold hooks on the front for leashes and two on the top to hang up the plaque.
