Note Holder

To Purchase Notes and Key Holder Click Here

What You Will Need

1. Paint
2. Wood glue
3. Clothes pins
4. Paint Pen
5. Hook
6. Sand paper
7. Paint brushes
8. Wood

First Step

Cut and sand the wood.

Second Step

Paint the wood the main color you would like it to be. Let dry.

* If you would like to get the antiqued or weathered look: after the pain dries, take fine sandpaper and sand around the edges of the wood. Sand until it looks "scratched up." You can leave it like that or you can take a wet paper towel and dip it into another color pain, white or brown for example and rub the papertowel over the wood. The parts that were sanded will pick up the second color making it look weathered. Let dry.

Third Step

Spray with Acrylic Sealer or paint a coat of Modge Podge over it.

Fourth Step

After it dries all the way, (It will take a couple hours) you can write any message on there you want, such as "Notes" or "Recipes." I do this step after I seal it because sealer will make the paint pen ink run.

Fifth Step

While you are waiting for all that to dry, at any point really you can paint the clothespins whatever colors you would like. Hang up on a hanger to let dry.

Sixth Step

After everything is thoroughly dried, you can glue the clothespins to the wood. I use Elmer's Wood Glue. Let dry. If you want to you can screw in a hook in the bottom for a handy key holder.

And you are finished!
